At around 1:16 a.m., the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert reporting that a car and an electric scooter had collided on Avenida del Norte, municipality of Santa Lucía and the occupant of the latter required health care.
A 23-year-old man who, at the initial moment of assistance, presented with serious injuries, was transferred by medical ambulance from the SUC to the Insular University Hospital of Gran Canaria.
1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources. The SUC staff assessed and assisted the affected person who, after being stabilized, was transferred by medical ambulance to the aforementioned hospital and the Local Police made the corresponding report.
