At around 13:55 p.m., the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received a call informing them that a man needed health care at the Arinaga Pier, municipality of Agüimes.
A man was assisted after suffering a moderate semi-drowning, except for complications, transferred by basic life support ambulance from the SUC to the Insular University Hospital of Gran Canaria.
The 1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources, the first responders in the area gave the first attention to the affected person. The SUC Staff assessed and assisted the affected person, who presented semi-drowning symptoms, transferring him to the aforementioned hospital. The Local Police collaborated with the rest of the emergency resources and made the corresponding reports.
