The El Pino festivities in Teror coincided in the south of Gran Canaria with a series of fires that required the presence of environmental forces to prevent further damage. It was at dawn and when most of the island's volunteer units were concentrated in Teror and its surroundings. Two fires broke out almost at the same time, this morning in San Bartolomé de Tirajana, one in the El Matorral neighborhood and another in the Aldea Blanca neighborhood. Firefighters from San Bartolomé de Tirajana and the Gran Canaria Consortium had to go first to the Aldea Blanca neighborhood. Almost at the same time they received notice of another fire in the El Matorral neighborhood, which is a few minutes away from the previous one, to put out another fire that they were able to put out more quickly.
