At around 18,12:1 p.m., the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1-2-XNUMX of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert in which it was reported that a woman with symptoms of drowning had been pulled from the sea and the lifeguards of Puerto Rico Beach, municipality of Mogán were providing assistance.
A 70-year-old woman with symptoms of moderate semi-drowning, except for complications, was transferred by medical ambulance from the SUC to the Insular University Hospital of Gran Canaria.
The 1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources, the SUC personnel assessed and assisted the affected woman who, after being stabilized, was transferred by medical ambulance to the aforementioned hospital. The Local Police and Civil Guard, activated by the Coordinating Center, collaborated with the rest of the emergency resources and prepared the appropriate reports.
