As Maspalomas24H announced, Narváez wants to repeat as mayor

 

This morning Conchi Narváez Vega presented and registered her candidacy again as head of the list for the next Municipal Elections, scheduled for the month of May 2023, representing the PSC-PSOE of San Bartolomé de Tirajana.

 

 

Narváez, who was surrounded by numerous members and sympathizers at the regional headquarters of the PSOE, addressed those present stating su  “excitement, desire and strength, that  "This is what I bring today in this request that I make to once again be a candidate for mayor of San Bartolomé de Tirajana."

 

The candidate stressed that she is attending the next elections “with the same enthusiasm and desire that I gave her three years ago, when when we won the elections and fucked the reins of a town hall that was completely abandoned and without no kind of direction". 

 

Narváez recalled that when he became mayor, in 2019, “not even the suppliers wanted to work for the city council because they were not sure if they would ever be paid for their work.”

 

The hardest moments in history

 

Amid applause and displays of support, the candidate to repeat as first mayor of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, indicated that “I agree to the candidacy with the support and backing of a strong and united socialist group, led by councilors, and of the municipal staff with whom, working hand in hand, we have taken this municipality forward in very difficult, very complicated times…. Together, we have been able to move this municipality forward in the toughest moments in history, mired in an unprecedented health, economic and immigration crisis.”

 

Setting the clock of San Bartolomé de Tirajana has been the main line of action of this mandate: “We have worked for this from the beginning. We are clear about what the needs and demands of our neighbors are, but we also know what tools to use at all times to serve and respond to citizens,” he said.

 

DNA of transparency, loyalty and dialogue

 

He described his management and that of his team as “marked with the DNA of transparency, loyalty, a lot of dialogue, courage and perseverance, but above all, we have worked for the neighborhoods of our municipality giving the best of ourselves.” 

 

 

Conchi Narváez concluded her intervention by emphasizing that in the nine months remaining until the next municipal elections are held, “we will continue working as we have done from the first minute. I am committed and prepared to increase the trust granted by citizens in 2019.” 

 

Her last words referred to her true purpose: “I am clear, I want to be mayor of my municipality again, because I am determined to continue facing problem after problem and situation after situation, with a future project for San Bartolomé de Tirajana, to continue strengthening, investing and generating new possibilities for growth, to be a better municipality every day for our neighbors and all those who visit us.”
