Yesterday, Saturday, at around 21:42 p.m., the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert reporting a fire in a home located on Cucaña street, municipality of Santa Lucia de Tirajana.
A 55-year-old woman who, at the initial time of assistance, presented with moderate smoke inhalation poisoning, was transported in a sanitized ambulance to the El Doctoral Health Center.
The minor under 13 years of age who, at the initial time of assistance, has moderate smoke inhalation poisoning, is transported in a sanitized ambulance to the El Doctoral Health Center.
The 1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources. Upon arriving at the scene, the fire had been extinguished by the neighbors, so the Firefighters proceeded to ventilate the property. The SUC health personnel provided initial assistance to those affected and transferred them to a health center. The Local Police and the Civil Guard collaborated with the emergency services and took charge of the corresponding procedures.
