The budget modification, of 496.275,5 euros, will be used to cover actions such as the installation of a tertiary system for treating effluent water from the Puerto Rico WWTP.
The Mogán Plenary Session has definitively approved in a plenary session this Friday a budget modification of 496.275 euros, which will be financed entirely with credits from other uncommitted items in the current budget.
Of the total amount, 175.473,20 euros will be injected to pay for the installation of a tertiary system for treating the water that flows from the Puerto Rico treatment plant, whose objective is to reuse the treated water for irrigation of the garden areas of the urbanizations of Puerto Rico and Amadores. The municipal contribution to this action will be complemented by a direct subsidy of 427.000 euros granted to the Consistory by the Government of the Canary Islands for this purpose.
On the other hand, 99.169,55 euros will be invested in the maintenance, conservation and renovation service of public lighting installations. Likewise, 40.000 euros will go to the item destined to pay for the supply of drinking water for the population, 50.000 for the Maintenance and Public Works Service, 81.633 euros to carry out actions for conservation, maintenance and improvement of the municipality's roads, and 50.000 euros for sanitation works.
This budget modification has been approved with the vote in favor of the Government group (CIUCA), and the abstention of PP and PSOE.
Other issues
In this ordinary session of the Plenary Session, it has been approved as the entity awarded the contract for the loan operation for a value of 1.637.674,22 euros and a duration of six months to Banco Sabadell. This amount, added to another 1.547.000 euros from the Remaining Treasury, will be used to liquidate the contract for the home waste collection service in force in the municipality from 1992 to August 31, 2020. The matter has been moved forward with the vote in favor of the Government group and against PP and PSOE.
Finally, the expiration of the liquidation procedure for the management contract for the public Street Cleaning service has been unanimously declared, given the impossibility of issuing a resolution within the three months provided for by law. The file will begin again soon.
