The leader of Nueva Canarias, Román Rodríguez, expressed this Tuesday his confidence that Samuel Henríquez will achieve the mayorship of San Bartolomé de Tirajana in the next municipal elections of 2023. This was ratified in the extraordinary assembly of the Canaristas Tirajaneros. The former mayor José Juan Santana Quintana and the former mayor María del Pino Torres were present at the event.
Román Rodriguez showed his support for the candidate, recognizing "the important work carried out in these years." In his speech, the already candidate for mayor for Nueva Canarias, structured his speech in three blocks, the importance of organization, the meaning of Nueva Canarias' policies and the municipality model he wants for the south of Gran Canaria. Henríquez thanked the support obtained by the local and national organization.
The main axes that the Nueva Canarias electoral program will develop in Tirajana are based on several blocks after identifying axes through the management itself and meetings with neighbors, groups, associations and different representatives of Tirajana society. The urban environment, mobility and accessibility, security, cultural and leisure offerings, economic development and human well-being are the main concerns that the residents of Tirajana have "and we are going to dedicate ourselves to them", concluded the current councilor of Urban planning of the south of Gran Canaria.
