The Romeral Castle beautifies its green areas

 

Numerous girls and boys residing in the Castillo del Romeral were active participants in the arrangement and improvement of the green areas of the neighborhood, collaborating with the different actions programmed by the Department of Parks and Gardens of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, together with the Festival Commission and the Maritime Park Association.

 

 These tasks, included in the program of the San Miguel Festivities, were also joined by a large group of mothers and fathers who, throughout the morning of last weekend, got to work beautifying the gardens, to which They applied their ornamentation with native flowers and plants, eliminated the weeds and watered the soil in the flowerbeds on the promenade of this unique coastal enclave.

 

 

 

“This community action of citizen cooperation and our City Council is proof of the neighborhood's commitment to their common areas, especially the green ones, and also coinciding with the celebration of the neighborhood festivals in honor of San Miguel. They will always have us at their disposal,” said councilor Nélida García.

 

With shovels, rakes, shovels and buckets in hand, these early gardeners contribute in an exemplary way to ensuring the preservation and maintenance of these green spaces.

 

 

 

 

And as is mandatory, after the effort, children and adults enjoyed a well-deserved and restorative breakfast.
