The established designers, protagonists of the second day of Gran Canaria Swim Week by Moda Cálida

Gran Canaria Swim Week by Moda Cálida celebrates its second day with the Spring/Summer 2023 proposals from a selection of established designers, among whom there are also new talents. Both visitors from the general public and professionals from the swimwear sector have traveled to the ExpoMeloneras venue, headquarters of GCSW by MC, consolidating, once again, the excellent influx of visitors to the event. 

The Canarian firm Diazar has given the starting signal to the second day of parades. Next, the Italian brand's fashion shows followed. Edelvissa, All that she loves, Alawa, the Danish Copenhagen Poster, and the Canarian firm San Juan. Next, it was the turn of the German Anecdote, Y de Gonzales. The person in charge of closing this second day of parades has been Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, always faithful to his appointment with the Gran Canaria catwalk. In front row, the influencers Marta Lozano, Teresa Andrés Gonzalvo, Carla Barber, among others, they have enjoyed the fashion shows of local designers of San Juan, Gonzales and Diazar. Among the Canarian influencers, Priscilla Betancourt, Yaiza Mencía and Gema Betancor, who have been in the parades All That She Loves, from the Italian firm Edelvissa, from the Danish Copenaghen Poster and from the German Anecdote. On the catwalk fashion references such as models Lorena Durán, Guiomar Alfaro, Elvira García y Yurima Santana.

Regarding the parades, The day started at 16pm with Born this Way, the designer's most demanding collection Diazarinspired by the origins of the social movement to fight the LGBTQ+ community for their rights. Edelvissa, For its part, it has presented a collection inspired by nature using fabrics that are made entirely with high-tech and they are 100% ecological Made in Italy. Furthermore, at 17 p.m. Blue Submarine, the collection of All That She Loves, has presented swimwear and beachwear pieces animated with a vibrant palette of intense colors. At 18 p.m. Alawa has presented the collection women, with which he wanted to pay tribute to women, focusing on one of the most characteristic notes of his house: femininity. The Danish firm Copenhagen poster has displayed his collection as a reminder to everyone about the importance of protecting the oceans. At 19 p.m. San Juan has staged its collection inspired by the colors and silhouettes of the jungle with transparent fabrics arranged in different layers and drawing organic textures. At 20pm the German Anecdote has presented its collection based on the story of the rose that blooms at night, grows by its own light, with powdery pink petals and a living heart. The signature Gonzales has opened the last double show of the afternoon with his collection Random. This proposal leads us towards the random, fortuitous or casual, which does not obey any method or criterion and whose result is always unknown and unexpected. And as a final touch to the second day, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada has been in charge of closing. For this edition, Agatha has designed a collection that defines it as “the collection I'm most excited to make of the year, a super Agatha collection for the best organized catwalk in the world.”
