The academic and Nobel Prize winner in Economics Christopher Antoniou Pissarides, professor at the School of Economics and Political Sciences and Regius Professor of Economics at the London School of Economics, will be the author of the inaugural conference of the 2022 Maspalomas Tourism Forum which this year is brought forward to November and is celebrated in Expomeloneras between November 17 and 18. Pissarides has focused his research on macroeconomic issues and, in particular, on the labor market, economic growth and economic policy. In 2010, he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Economics, along with Peter A. Diamond and Dale Mortensen.
In this way, the Maspalomas Tourism Forum, which reaches its XNUMXth edition, promotes knowledge and analysis in the labor market and, especially, about the tourism sector. Likewise, there is a Keynote Conference on the outlook for the winter tourism market by Thomas Bösl, CEO of RTK Group.
