After publication in the BOC on October 27, 2022, the resolution that both cooperatives had demanded so much is applied.
The interurban rate or T3 becomes a single rate starting today, October 28, in the municipalities of San Bartolomé de Tirajana and Mogán, a fact celebrated by the taxi sector of both municipalities; whose representatives have transferred to Maspalomas24h their satisfaction with the application of a single rate that they have been demanding since 2019. This measure would eradicate the urban rate, also known as T1.
From the taxi sector they affirm that this measure favors the simplification of prices and will avoid confusion for users, thus allowing them to have a single reference rate. Víctor Gutiérrez, Councilor for Traffic and Transportation of Mogán, has taken advantage of the approval of the measure to thank the sector for its patience due to the bureaucratic stoppage that the measure suffered in 2020 due to the pandemic. For his part, the president of the Moganera cooperative, Eusebio Rodríguez, affirms that the resolution is received “with great enthusiasm” among the 173 licenses of the municipality.

In this way, San Bartolomé de Tirajana and Mogán join a measure in which the municipality of Arucas was a pioneer and to which the municipality of Pájara in Fuerteventura also adopted this same year.
