The businessmen of El Goro, in Telde, have started an offensive to claim that they are the allies of companies in the tourism sector in the south of Gran Canaria. More than 300 representatives of business entities on the island of Gran Canaria attended this Wednesday the first edition of the Aegoro Talks Experience training event, organized by the consulting firm Urbiola and the Business Association of the El Goro Business Park (AEGORO).
The president of this business association, Francisco Pérez, participated in the event; Cristina Castillo, lawyer specializing in Human Resources and expert in emotional skills training; and Mario Alberto Puig, a doctor of Medicine who has dedicated the last twenty years to researching and teaching leadership techniques and managing high-performance teams in the business world.
The message that the participants put in unison on the table before businessmen, managers and workers attending the event calls for the humanization of relationships in the workplace and the assertive management of leadership in group dynamics. The Association of Businessmen of the El Goro Industrial Estate, with more than 25 years of activity, was established in December 1994, at the initiative of a group of businessmen aware of the importance and need to bring together the business activities that at that time were were located in El Goro (Telde) and with the objective of representing, managing and defending the professional interests, in the general and common aspects of businessmen located in one of the most important economic centers of the island of Gran Canaria, the El Business Park.
