The Minister of Industry, Commerce and Crafts wanted to be present today with the Association of Neighborhood Entrepreneurs and Professionals -Ascoive- for the presentation of the Christmas campaign that includes the decoration of their businesses with more than 150 Christmas fir trees.
The island institution has been working on strategies that promote the revitalization of commercial activity, especially in one of the most important seasons of the year, Christmas, in which sales increase up to 20% and for another year the challenge is to maintain these figures. in a creative and participatory way. “Fulfilling our objective of supporting our merchants to continue reactivating the economy, we could not fail to participate in this Ascoive initiative, which seeks to ensure that Christmas shopping is carried out in a longer period of time, that people have meeting points in family and that we have distinctive symbols that unify our commerce, such as Christmas trees,” the counselor explained in this regard.
Alonso added that this initiative is added to those that have been carried out jointly in the Open Commercial Zones of the island, creating a whole complementary offer and a program that also invites inhabitants of any place to visit neighboring municipalities to advance their Christmas shopping and to give all the value that local and local products have,” he emphasized.
For his part, Juan Pérez, president of Ascoive, stressed that “as there is strength in unity”, commerce and professionals from different areas are being invited not only to join this campaign but also at this time when sales are increasing. Regarding the campaign presented, Ascoive has not only decorated its streets with Christmas trees for all its associates - more than 150 both in the pedestrian environment and on Avenida de Canarias - but has also launched its traditional Christmas raffle where They raffle off several trips to different destinations.
