The popular neighborhood of the municipality of Agüimes celebrates the festivities in honor of the Immaculate Conception and Santa Marta until December 9 (you can see the festivities program)

An announcing parade with batucada and papahuevos begins this Wednesday the festivities of the Arinaga Residential Estate in honor of the Immaculate Conception and Santa Marta. For the next 9 days, this popular neighborhood in the municipality of Agüimes will host workshops, children's attractions, dances and festivals, among other activities to be carried out both in the square and in the social venue.
This Thursday, starting at 18:00 p.m., there will be a snack and senior dance enlivened by Luz de Luna, an event that has the collaboration of the Arigánez Seniors Association and the sponsorship of the Spar Pérez Bolaños Supermarket. On Friday, at 17:00 p.m., a dance and urban dance workshop will be held, while Saturday, December 3, will be a day dedicated to folklore and tradition. At 19:00 p.m. the 'Serenade Night' will begin with the La Billarda Folk Group and at 20:30 p.m. the second edition of the Shareholder's Gala will take place, with the election of the most traditional sharecropper and sharecropper.
On Sunday, at 10:30 a.m., the Club Leones Latinos de Agüimes will organize a baseball match on the field located in the Residential Park. At 15:00 p.m., in the square, there will be the foam festival, which this year promises great fun. On Monday, the adult hifi stopover will be held, with live voiceovers from the participants. On Tuesday, December 6, a holiday, the square will be taken over by boys and girls, with the ludo playground from 11:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m. and the children's hifi stopover from 21:00 p.m.
On Wednesday the 7th, the eve of the Immaculate Conception, the main festival of the festivities will take place, with Yeray Socorro, Grupo D-Music and DJ Desiré Santana. Thursday the 8th will be dominated by religious events, with the solemn Eucharist at 12:30 and the subsequent procession and offering. The food collected will be destined for Cáritas de Agüimes. In the afternoon, at 19:00 p.m., Pepe Benavente will put the musical culmination to the festivities that will end on Friday, December 9, with the show 'Stories to wake up', by narrator Antonio López, a combination of stories and songs for the entire family.
