The Plaza de la Paz in Castillo del Romeral will host, next Tuesday, December 6th, at 20:30 pm, the concert `Tribute to Juan Luis Guerra´, organized by the Department of Festivities and Events of the San Bartolomé de Tirajana City Council.
In this way, the City Council directs all its interest in boosting social and economic activity in this unique neighborhood of the municipality, turning it into a festive meeting point, both for the residents of El Castillo and for tourists and visitors. Without a doubt, it will be a catalyst to boost the economy of the restaurant sector.
The tribute, titled 'Te Regalo una Rosa', an emblematic song by the Dominican composer and singer, holder of several Grammy Awards, consists of a repertoire of 24 songs, among which are some of the best known from his discography: 'La Bilirrubina ', 'Bubbles of Love', 'I hope it rains coffee', 'Visa for a Dream', 'Everything Has Its Time' or 'Bachata Rosa'.
The group of musicians and singers who will give shape to this tribute of voices and notes is led by vocalist Thony Romero, under the musical direction of Iván Munguía, the stage direction of Israel Reyes, and the styling of Víctor Montero.
The musicians that make up the band are: Josué Santana (piano), Juanjo Santana (guitar), Javier Bautista (bass), Ivan Munguia (musical direction), Miguel Santana (güira/timbal and drums), Ancor Falcón (congas), Carlos Ramírez (minor percussion), Stefan Navarro (trombone), Néstor Oliver Ramírez (sax), Abian Benítez (sax), along with the trumpets, Cristo Manuel Trujillo and Juan Ramón Trujillo; in the choirs; Aduén Amaya, Circe Santana, Zebenzui Yanez and Yeray Fariña.
