La Villa de Ingenio welcomes Christmas with the lighting of the garlands and decorative elements on public roads. This year's Christmas decoration in the municipality is made up of more than a hundred LED light garlands and they once again decorate different roundabouts and flowerbeds on different roads and neighborhoods, in addition to decorative elements made by Public Services staff made with recycled materials , which take on a new life this time of year. New this year, a 3-meter-high 5D ball will be installed in Las Mimosas Park and a starry gate will be installed in La Candelaria Square. Both decorations will serve as a 'photocall' for photos and attract the attention of citizens.
Mayor Ana Hernández affirms that lighting the streets “favors the atmosphere on these dates, since lighting is an important incentive for commerce and at the same time keeps the enthusiasm of the boys and girls of the municipality alive,” and makes an invitation the citizens of the municipality "to enjoy our municipality and discover the gastronomic and ethnographic potential, in addition to the extensive program of activities offered by the Christmas campaign with shows for all audiences."
