Tourist unrest with the role of the Círculo as employers in Maspalomas

First call of attention. In Las Palmas they continue to think that the south of Gran Canaria, where the economic capital of the Canary Islands is located, is a thing of barracks from the Bonny era full of slaves to feed the Franco regime with hard currency. The employers' associations that have their defense in the destiny of Maspalomas are already beginning to openly express what the Círculo de Empresarios de Gran Canaria does, functioning as a parallel employers' association. The meeting of a pressure group Excelcan, based in Tenerife, organizing the island's tourism dialogue has accelerated the breakdown of consensus around the market.

The Gran Canaria Businessmen's Circle was created to defend the island that bears its name, but that has passed away, giving way to executives, not businessmen, and leaders of Tenerife, such as the president of Binter Canarias. As a detail, in the Círculo de Empresarios in the south of Tenerife there is nothing from Gran Canaria. The Gran Canaria entity has wanted to overcome its borders and associate with businessmen from Lanzarote who, in turn, have interests in Fuerteventura.

Business sources told Maspalomas24H that "it is understood that people have to look for their leadership but we are talking about an organization that at its foundation precisely brought together the cream of the island's business community" and that "is breaking the image of a business unit by going to applaud the actions of the Canarian Coalition, a very dangerous action because it marks the other organizations, which are real, and choose to maintain their independence." The same sources said that "to be a boss association you have to follow a procedure that dates back to 1978 and involves carrying out internal elections and things like that, employers associations are not select clubs."
