The Villa de Ingenio City Council recovers the Christmas Eve festivities, on the 24th, and New Year's Eve, on the 31st, which are celebrated in the tent installed in the Plaza de La Candelaria. Both are framed within the Christmas Campaign, which aims to offer a program of activities aimed at family leisure on these dates, avoid traveling by car outside the municipality and promote and enhance local commerce.
Musical performances, the children's theater festival, the concerts of the timplista Germán López, the Villa de Ingenio Musical Society (SMVI), Memvus and the Gando Air Base band; the tribute to Michael Jackson by Gus Jackson, the recital of Christmas carols by the AC Coros y Danzas in the church of La Candelaria and that of Chelys Odalys in the church of Buen Suceso, and the Three Kings parade in Carrizal are some of the attractions of this Christmas Campaign.
The Christmas Eve party will be held from 00.00:4.00 a.m. to 23.30:06 a.m., and New Year's Eve, from 00:10.00 p.m. to 14.00:XNUMX a.m., with two stages. The Buen Suceso park in Carrizal will also host the II New Year's Family Party, from XNUMX:XNUMX a.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m., with bouncy castles, craft workshops, the clown Zapitto, dolls, the Samba Isleña batucada, party favors, bagels and cottons and the show La Circoneta. Germán López will present his new album 'Alma' this Friday, the 9th at 20.30:11 p.m., at the Federico García Lorca Cultural Center. The V Children's Theater Festival will be held from December 30 to 11 and offers the shows 'Neverland', on the 80th; 'Around the world in 23 days', on the 30rd; 'D'artacan and the three muskedogs', on the 19.00th. The three shows will take place in the tent in the Plaza de La Candelaria, at 15:19 p.m. and with free admission. The La Candelaria tent will host on Tuesday and Wednesday, the 13th and 15th, in the morning, the series of educational concerts of the Villa de Ingenio Musical Society, with the show 'Pedro y el lobo', which will have more than one audience. of a thousand schoolchildren from the municipality's educational centers, and on the 17th, Sociedad Musical Villa de Ingenio will offer its Christmas Concert, at 21.00:XNUMX p.m., also in the tent and with free admission.
On Saturday the 17th, the Chelys Odalys choir will also perform at the Buen Suceso church in Carrizal, with a repertoire of Christmas songs.
The AC Choirs and Dances will offer a Christmas carol recital on December 25 in the church of La Candelaria.
On Thursday, the 29th, the artist of engineering origin Gus Jackson and one of the best imitators of Michael Jackson, will take the stage of the Federico García Lorca Cultural Center to offer his tribute to the king of pop.
