The Christmas House will be installed in the Pérez Galdós square in Arguineguín from December 12 to 16
In the morning the activity is exclusive for the municipality's schools and in the afternoons for the general public.
The Christmas House opened its doors today in the Pérez Galdós square in Arguineguín with a display of color, magic and, above all, a lot of excitement. Christmas spirits accompany the little ones on a fun journey in search of Santa Claus, who awaits them at home to receive the letters of wishes.
The mayor of Mogán, Onalia Bueno, and the accidental Councilor for Culture, Consuelo Díaz, received the first boys and girls who attended the activity this morning from the CEIP Casas de Veneguera and the CEIP Cercados de Espino.
Together with the first group, they took the tour consisting of different sets such as 'The Library of Knowledge', 'The Winter', 'The Country of Sweets' and 'The Toy Workshop'. In each of these, a Spirit of Christmas explains the importance of reading and training, education, the environment, solidarity, perseverance and effort. During the adventure, the little ones gather a series of magical objects that allow them to find Santa Claus, who welcomes them delightedly. At the end, Christmas craft workshops await you.
“You just have to see the enthusiasm of the first boys and girls who have entered. It is wonderful to see those fantasy faces and the magic that Christmas awakens in them,” said Díaz, stating that because of the illusion they harbor “it is worth organizing this type of activities.”
The councilor explained that during the morning the Christmas House will be visited by the municipality's students and from 17:00 p.m. to 19:00 p.m. by the general public. To attend in the afternoon, a ticket reservation system has been established, which are already sold out. However, Díaz has assured that “no one is going to miss out on visiting La Casa de la Navidad. It is very important that boys and girls are not left out and participate in their celebration, which is Christmas.” Therefore, people who have not been able to reserve tickets can attend, although they will have to wait until access is possible. Families who do have tickets will carry out the activity on the requested day and time.
