The 2023 work calendar for the south of Gran Canaria includes eleven holidays that will be enjoyed throughout the archipelago. To these, we must add a holiday specific to each island and two local holidays, set by each municipality. In total, there will be 14 holidays. In the south of Gran Canaria it is maintained: July 25: Feast of Santiago Apóstol and August 24: Feast of San Bartolomé.
Holy Week 2023 will arrive at the beginning of the month of April - the 6th and 7th are Good Thursday and Good Friday - and Canary Islands Day, May 30, will fall on a Tuesday. It will also be a holiday in Gran Canaria on September 8, the festival of Nuestra Señora del Pino.
