A document presented by NC warned the auditor that the proposed agreement contained an error that could affect its legality.
NC highlights that the budget reduction of more than 12 million euros reflects the battered situation of the municipal public coffers
Today, Friday, December 23, 2022, the final approval of the municipal budget for the 2023 financial year has been submitted to plenary consideration by urgent means after the dismissal of all allegations presented by unions and political groups against the same.
After reviewing the file, the NC spokesperson in the Mogán City Council, Isabel Santiago, detected an error in the municipal auditor's proposed report. Said report, vital for the final approval of the budget, stated that the nationalist formation had presented allegations in relation to the holding of the general negotiation table, something that, as proven, is uncertain, which forced the auditor to rectify his report. Likewise, another error is added to said file, and that is that the Department of Finance had to misplace the PP's allegations, since they had not been resolved in a timely manner, which adds to these administrative errors that have forced Ciuca to urgently process the budget for the 2023 financial year.
Going into the content of the budget, from NC, it has become clear that the public accounts project continues to fail to comply with judicial resolutions, such is the case of Sentence No. 123/2021 issued by the Contentious-Administrative Chamber, First Section , of the Superior Court of Justice of the Canary Islands, by which one of the specific supplements in the amount of €18.091,99, assigned to one of the police officers close to the security councilor Mencey Navarro, was declared void. The budget project, far from complying with the judicial resolution, for which Mayor Onalia Bueno has already been fined, includes that amount again.
In this sense, from the nationalist formation it has been indicated that it is included again in the strategic subsidy plan, as has happened in all the municipal budgets prepared and approved by the government led by Onalia Bueno from 2016 until the planned year. by 2023, a direct nominative subsidy to the commercial entity OCEAN WAVE SPORTS MARKETING SLU,
