The executive of the San Roque health group, Sebastián Sansó, in the center of the photo, has been named the new president of Spaincares, at the proposal of the Spanish health employers' association (ASPE). Sansó has been directly elected to lead the organization, by acclamation and without having to vote. Sebastián Sansó will be at the head of this cluster in which the most representative tourism and health entities in the country come together, such as the Spanish Private Health Alliance (ASPE), the National Association of Spas (Anbal) and the Spanish Confederation of Hotels and Tourist Accommodations (Cehat).

Sebastian Sansó, Graduate in Business Sciences, with a Master in Health Management and Hospitalization, Executive MBA, Master in Fiscal and Tax Consulting and Master in European Studies (economic specialty), has extensive experience. Currently, Sansó is managing director of the San Roque University Hospitals, in Maspalomas (Gran Canaria) and also corporate director of Development of these same hospital centers. To assume this new role, he believes “it is necessary to have the support of public administrations”, especially to “ensure that health tourism can be greatly promoted in our country”, which “has not been achieved to date.” ", has underlined.
The new president assumes this role with “excitement and motivation”, knowing the challenges he faces and “being clear about Spaincares' priorities”. Furthermore, he has stressed the importance of health tourism stating that “we cannot forget that we are in a moment of opportunity after a few turbulent years due to Covid-19 and that this cluster has the challenge of continuing to be a benchmark in this area. ”.
