Maspalomas: the rush for Fitur begins in Madrid in an electoral key

Yurena Vega Sunday, January 08, 2023

Companies from the south of Gran Canaria begin to prepare their presence at Fitur 2023 between January 18 and 23, 2023, from 18 to 20 for professional audiences, with the presence of municipal and island authorities at the IFEMA Madrid exhibition center. Gran Canaria Tourism will present its battery of proposals to increase the presence of peninsular tourism in the south of the island, the economic capital of the Canary Islands. In the south of Gran Canaria, it has a presence in its own Meeting Point space and the hotel management company Lopesan. In 2023, no presentation of information about Siam Park is expected, unlike in other years due to the judicial blockade of this Tenerife project in the south of Gran Canaria.

This 2023 Fitur has a special agenda for the May electoral agenda. The meeting takes place over five days and welcomes in the same space both professionals from the tourism sector and those interested in the latest trends in the sector, as well as the general public interested in learning about the destinations offered that can visit the fair during the end of week.

The tourist regions will also present some new ideas for the year 2023. The AMTC is made up of the municipalities of Arona, Adeje, Guía de Isora, Santiago del Teide and Puerto de la Cruz (Tenerife), San Bartolomé de Tirajana, Mogán (Gran Canaria ), Pájara, Antigua, La Oliva (Fuerteventura), Yaiza, Tías and Teguise (Lanzarote). These thirteen destinations bring together around 80 of the hotel and non-hotel places in the archipelago.
