The new edition of the Southeast Fair of Gran Canaria is already underway. The most popular event in the region will be held on March 10,11, 12 and 50 on Avenida Carlos V de Carrizal (Ingenio), which is why the Agüimes City Council has opened the registration period so that people and companies interested in participate can occupy the XNUMX exhibition and sales spaces assigned to the municipality.
Applications can be submitted from January 9 to 20 by going to the citizen services offices (OAC) of Agüimes or Cruce de Arinaga. They can also be processed through the electronic headquarters of the City Council, in the Commerce area.
The Southeast Fair brings together the agri-food and artisanal offerings of Agüimes, Santa Lucía and Ingenio in an event that has been gaining strength year after year. After the break forced by the pandemic in 2020 and 2021, this macro event with kilometer zero products began to be held every six months, with notable sales success and a growing influx of public. Thus, in 2022 there were two editions: one in the month of June in Cruce de Arinaga (Agüimes) and another in November in Vecindario (Santa Lucía).
The 19th edition of the Fair will once again have a total of 150 stalls, 50 for each of the three municipalities that make up the Commonwealth of the Southeast of Gran Canaria. The event is an excellent showcase for farmers, ranchers and artisans in the region, as well as an engine of economic revitalization that promotes the consumption of local products among the more than 100.000 people who gather at each edition.
