The British who come to Maspalomas now prefer Jet2 more than Tui and Lastminute

The digital travel portal owned by the operator Jet2, which is looking on Linkedin for a general coordinator in Gran Canaria for the summer of 2023, has surpassed other systems such as TUI or Lastminute in customer preferences, according to a survey by Consumer Champion Which. The UK company has received the highest score for customer satisfaction alongside Swiss holiday provider Kuoni. 

Respondents praised Jet2's high levels of service and reliability, with one customer saying he "doesn't feel like he's one of the herd." However, big brands like Lastminute.com, Easyjet Holidays and TUI collapsed due to customer service issues, while eDreams was criticized for descriptions that did not match reality.

A TUI spokesperson said: "This small survey does not at all reflect the feedback we receive from our customers", while Lastmimute.com He added that the research did not reflect "the extreme complexity of the travel ecosystem." eDreams said the survey was not accurate as the platform does not offer traditional vacation packages unlike some of its competitors. “eDreams offers 'dynamic packages,' which are tailored combinations that package flights and hotels only,” a spokesperson said. “eDreams dynamic packages do not include the components associated with the traditional pre-arranged holiday model, such as access to holiday representatives and the overall organization of all aspects of the holiday.”
