The political forces of the south of Gran Canaria start the month of February with an agenda full of activities and with some doubts. At the moment, the first of them is the presence of the AV-PP leader on the lists of San Bartolomé de Tirajana. Marco Aurelio Pérez (MAP) hopes to exhaust the plucking of the daisy leaves until March to clarify whether or not he is running for local elections. A risky measure that has CC emboldened on social networks but AV is door-to-door.
The business community in the south of Gran Canaria is divided. On the one hand, the apartment owners are in trouble with Alejandro Marichal, the FEHT keeps a low profile while parties like HA or NC try to gain a foothold in the world of small businesses and the agricultural sector. AV-PP and PSOE, for their part, keep the pulse among large companies.
CC data indicates that the middle-middle class in the south of Gran Canaria, at 48,2%, supports the management of Marichal and MAP in the past while there is a lower-middle class environment, with 13,4 and working class 10,6, which is the one that maintains a position most similar to the theses of PSOE and NC.
