A large operation of machines and personnel continues to be deployed at different points of the San Bartolomé de Tirajana road layout. The Department of Roads and Works announces the progressive fulfillment of the Global Asphalt Plan, which has already reached more than 70 streets and roads in the residential and tourist area. These days there is intervention in Monte León and then the machinery will pave Montaña La Data.
The replacement of the pavement in Lomo Galeón, Las Crucitas, Barrio Chico, Poblado César and Montaña Blanca has already been completed. Prior to these, work has been completed on the streets of El Tablero, Avenida de Italia, Las Guirreras, streets of La Gomera and La Graciosa, among others.
In a phased manner, the achievement of these asphalting and repaving works will continue to expand its radius of action until reaching the rehabilitation of the pavements of the network of roads, paths, streets and heritage facilities throughout the municipal area.
“This is a Global Asphalting Plan that had never been undertaken in our municipality, promoted through the Department of Roads and Works and whose total contemplated budget amounts to almost 9 million euros,” highlighted Mayor Conchi Narváez who spoke today a visit accompanied by the head of the area Bartolomé Acosta.
