Most of the formations that have to take on the electoral campaign on May 28 in the south of Gran Canaria are already preparing their presence at the ITB in Berlin to seduce companies about their programs regarding the tourism sector. Thus, PSOE, AV-PP and CC already have an agenda of meetings with residents of Tirajana who live in Germany and other European countries in order to explain their ideas for the elections that will lead to new government groups starting in the summer. To top it all off, the motto of ITB Berlin 2023 is “Open for Change.” This 2023 edition will open the event on Monday, March 6, and will be strongly represented throughout the event.
In 2022, all in-person activities initially planned for ITB Berlin 2022 were canceled following the appearance of the new variant of Covid-19, Omicron, and the rise in positive cases in the international context. Messe Berlin could not offer exhibitors and partners the security necessary to hold it at the beginning of March
Companies in the south of Gran Canaria, for their part, are focusing their efforts exclusively on professional visitors, buyers and the press. As in previous years, the fair can be followed 'online' in parallel with the in-person exhibition at the fairgrounds, with selected sessions to be broadcast on the event website.
