The president of the Cabildo, Antonio Morales, highlighted that "in recent years, in addition, a line has been opened aimed at implementing works that deepen environmental sustainability, and this work that we are inaugurating today, in which it modernizes and updates an infrastructure in which no type of investment had been made in 25 years, is an example of this.”

These more than 600.000 euros of investment are added to another 400.000 euros that the Cabildo has contributed through the Maspalomas-Gran Canaria Consortium for the modernization and commissioning of the San Fernando swimming pool, a project that is also an example of sustainability and efficiency.

From the Cabildo of Gran Canaria "we praise the management that is being carried out by the Sports area of the San Bartolomé de Tirajana City Council, because sport is health, it is social cohesion, it is generating space for the young people of the municipality to practice sport, and "On the other hand, project the values of the municipality and give the opportunity to people who are involved, who make up a board of directors and who move forward with a sports club, to see themselves reciprocated with the efforts of the administration," added the president.
