Maritime Rescue has once again intercepted a vessel just 20 kilometers from the coast of Arguineguín. The SIVE surveillance system alerted the authorities of the presence of the boat near the coast of Arguineguín.
The Macondo boat, which has already carried out rescues in the area, went to the point where the boat was located and proceeded to rescue the 31 passengers, all of North African origin and without major health problems due to the trip, according to the authorities.
After the rescue operation, the migrants were transferred on the Salvamar to the port of Arguineguín where they disembarked.
