Arrested while waiting hidden inside the closet of the victim's home in Vecindario to attack her

The Civil Guard has arrested a 35-year-old man with a police record, for a crime of mistreatment in the family (gender violence), by forcing the entrance door and accessing the interior of the home owned by the victim. , hiding inside a closet in the master bedroom waiting for him to return from work, events that occurred in the municipality of Vecindario.

The Civil Guard learned of the events following a report from a neighbor who had heard loud noises in the upper house and observed how the door was apparently forced open, so there could have been someone inside. 

 

Once at the scene, the civil guards were able to verify that it was a home belonging to a high-risk victim of Gender Violence. Given the possibility that the alleged perpetrator could still be inside in the company of the victim, and to safeguard the integrity of her life, the agents proceeded to quickly access the home due to the possible commission of a flagrant crime.

 

 

 

 

Latex gloves, scissors and duct tape

 

Immediately the civil guards proceeded to inspect the different rooms of the house one by one, and upon reaching the victim's main bedroom and opening the closet, they located an individual hidden inside it, crouched among the clothes, with gloves wearing latex, with which he would allegedly perpetrate his attack. He was immediately identified as the victim's aggressor, proceeding at that moment to arrest him. 

 

 

The Civil Guard also located several objects among the alleged perpetrator's belongings, with which he allegedly intended to carry out his attack, including a roll of duct tape, scissors, more latex gloves, a lighter, a brochure about the place where the victim works. cut into pieces, and a passport-style photo of the victim. Therefore, and with the existing history of previous attacks, possibly the intervention of the agents was decisive in saving the victim's life and clarifying the criminal act.  

  

The detainee was placed at the disposal of the Violence Against Women Court No. 1 of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, which ordered his imprisonment.
