At around 11:22 a.m., the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert reporting the collision of two motorcycles on the GC-60 highway, near Palmeral de Arteara, San Bartolomé de Tirajana.
A 29-year-old man, who at the initial moment of care presented with serious trauma, was transferred in a medicalized ambulance from the SUC to the Insular University Hospital of Gran Canaria.
Another man, whose age is unknown, who at the initial moment of care had mild multiple contusions, was transferred in a basic life support ambulance from the SUC to San Roque Maspalomas Hospitals.
The 1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources and the SUC personnel provided initial assistance to the two injured, as well as their transfer to the hospital. The Civil Guard instructed the corresponding procedures.
