The health of the more than 3.000 runners of the Transgrancanaria 2023 is dyed green thanks to San Roque University Hospitals, which has provided medical coverage from Wednesday, February 22 to Sunday, February 26 in this edition of the mountain race.
The union between HUSR and Transgrancanaria, both leaders in their sector, has resulted in one of the best health coverage in memory of this sporting event held in Gran Canaria; with an unprecedented deployment of emergency teams to deal with any type of incident that occurred in the different modalities in the shortest possible time.
The sports event had an extensive health system that guaranteed the best medical coverage for local and international participants:
• Hospitalitos in Tejeda, Garañón, Ayagaures and Parque del Sur.
• Rapid Intervention Vehicles along the entire route.
• A healthcare team of more than 60 people (doctors, nurses, technicians, assistants, ambulance drivers, physiotherapists, etc.).
• A large fleet of Advanced and Basic Life Support ambulances.
