The Santa Lucía de Tirajana carnival returns to the streets with concerts, parades, clowns, children's activities and musical tributes to Celia Cruz and Gloria Estefan

On Friday, March 3, also at the Víctor Jara theater, the Allegory of Carnival will be celebrated. There will be three performances: at 19.30:21 p.m., at 22.30 p.m. and at 3:22 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at entrees.es for XNUMX euros. The same Friday in the Plaza de San Rafael will be the night of tributes, with the tribute to Celia Cruz at XNUMX p.m. and the tribute to Gloria Estefan at twelve at night.
On Saturday, March 4, there will be the Children's Carnival in the Pedestrian Zone of Avenida de Canarias with batucadas, inflatables and workshops for the little ones in the morning and afternoon. The clown Zapitto will also be there.
Totó el Payaso and Chirimurga del Barrio will perform on Colón Street starting at 12 noon. In the afternoon there will be the Countdown concert, at 16.30:18.30 p.m. and Pepe Benavente at XNUMX:XNUMX p.m.
In the Plaza de los Algodoneros at 18 p.m. Los Lola will give a concert, at 20 p.m. there will be DJ Ulises Acosta and an hour later the concert by Los Salvapantallas.
In the Plaza de San Rafael at 13.30:23.30 p.m. there will be the Solajero festival with Armonía Show, at 1.30:XNUMX p.m. the STar Music concert, at XNUMX:XNUMX a.m. Línea DJ and then La Mekánica by Tamarindos.
Family carnival
On Sunday, March 5, there will be the Family Carnival in the Plaza de Los Algodoneros and on Avenida de Canarias with inflatable attractions and workshops in the morning, at 11 there will be Musical Drawings and the concert by the Sol y Viento Band. At 12.30:XNUMX Cuentópolis Band in concert.
Also on Sunday, March 5, starting at 19 p.m. at the Víctor Jara theater, there will be the Santa Lucía de Tirajana Murgas Meeting, with the participation of Las Inkietas, Los Nietos de Sarymanchez, Las Golisnionas, Los Chismosos and Los Lengüetudos, with admission free upon withdrawal of the invitation at the Municipal Athenaeum. On March 7 and 8 there will be the Carnival at the Víctor Jara Theater.
On Thursday, March 9, the traditional Carnival will be held in the Plaza de Los Algodoneros starting at 4.30:XNUMX in the afternoon, with a workshop on creating masks with bags, a snack with carnival tortillas and chocolate, and a performance by the Parranda Mejunje.
On Friday, March 10, Drag Paradise Night will be held, a show where drag performers perform their best acts. It will be at the Víctor Jara theater and will be presented by Yanely Hernández and Paco Luís Quintana. The same Friday in the Plaza de San Rafael will be the tropical night with performances by Tonny Tun Tun at 23 p.m. and El Combo Dominicano at 1 a.m.
On Saturday, March 11, starting at 7 pm, there will be the Parade with floats and more faces that will travel along Avenida de Canarias from El Cruce de Sardina to Doctoral. After the parade, at 22 p.m., there will be the Mogollón de Carnaval with performances by Línea DJ, Banda Larga and La Mekánica by Tamarindos in the Plaza de San Rafael.
On Sunday, March 12 at 12 noon in Barranquillo de Pozo Izquierdo will be the Burning of the Sardine. At 12.30:XNUMX the La Trova concert, then Aseres will perform.
