The City Council has organized an event that will take place next Thursday, March 2, at 19:00 p.m., in Annex II of Playa del Inglés
Starring Soraya, Cristina Ramos, Vicco, Laura Márquez, and the comedians Omayra Cazorla, and the television actress Yanely Hernández
The current and historic Alféreces Provisionales road, located in Playa del Inglés, will from now on be called Avenida 8 de Marzo, as a tribute, memory and vindication of International Women's Day, according to the San Bartolomé de Tirajana City Council, through of the Department of Equality. This initiative allows compliance with the so-called Historical Memory Law.
To this end, the City Council has organized an event that will take place next Thursday, March 2, at 19:00 p.m. in Annex II of Playa del Inglés
Precisely, it was on March 8 of last year 2021 when it was Mayor Conchi Narváez herself who announced the agreement adopted by the Corporation, consisting of granting a new name, since this road maintained one of the streets in the area with a name from the fascist era.
Music and humor
To celebrate the new name of this road, from the area coordinated by councilor Irasema Hernández, a series of performances has been organized that brings together four singers and two leading comedians: They are the performers Soraya, Cristina Ramos and the new discovery Vicco, who recently went to Benidorm Fest. Along with them, Laura Márquez will also take the stage of Annex II, as well as the comedians Omayra Cazorla, and the television actress Yanely Hernández, also an actress, who will be the presenter of this important event.
