Mediator: El Mundo in Madrid pulls Maspalomas24H on the WhatsApp group

The newspaper El Mundo in Madrid echoed this Thursday the news reported by Maspalomas24H about the presence of businessmen with interests in the south of Gran Canaria related to the 'Mediator case'. "The chat of the 'A team' of the 'Mediator case' brings suspicion to the leadership of the Civil Guard in the Canary Islands," notes the Unidad Editorial newspaper.

The Madrid newspaper mentions the presence of a businessman and elaborates on the news from Maspalomas24H, which announced this week that the Police are closing in on this digital messaging group in case it had been used to do business or maintain illegal alliances. According to El Mundo, "the alleged irregularities detected in the treasury of the Tenerife Civil Guard Command and a WhatsApp group calling itself Team A detected in the investigation of the Mediator case have placed the leadership of the Armed Institute under suspicion," as reported Maspalomas24H.

Police officers detected the existence of a WhatsApp chat called “The A Team”, like the famous television series, where the general held conversations with well-known Canarian businessmen. One of the main projects in which the general agreed to participate was the attempt to install solar panels on the Canarian team's soccer field and in hotel establishments of the Lopesan group. No project was made. What did happen, according to investigators, was the hiring of the Civil Guard command by a Madrid construction company called Inversiones en Activos Bancarios PK, a company opened eight years ago for the sale and purchase of real estate with a staff of 40 workers. At that time his entry into the company was perfectly legal since he was outside the Civil Guard.
