The latest polls for the regional elections place the PSOE with 23 seats and the PP with 18
With the elections just around the corner, surveys and polls are beginning to give an idea of the political panorama that we may find after the elections. In this case, the polls in the Canary Islands point to a great growth of the PP, which would add 8 new deputies and would leave the one known as the “Pact of the Flowers” without an absolute majority.
The PSOE would achieve a simple majority with 23 seats, 2 less than in 2019, and the PP would sign the largest increase in the elections, adding 8 more seats than in 2019; thus placing itself with 18 and signing a bypass of the Canarian Coalition, which would lose two seats compared to the last elections.
According to this survey, with the loss of two seats by the PSOE and one by Nueva Canarias, the “Pact of the Flowers” would not reach an absolute majority; which would give rise to a new political scenario in the archipelago.
