The archaeologist Verónica Alberto is exciting. She explains things with a passion that she transfers to those who are layman in this matter to passages in the history of the Canary Islands as if they had happened yesterday. Thus, this March she has given a masterful exhibition about the Arteara hamlet, in a place to which the contrast between the green palm grove and the hardness of the rock gives it a singular beauty. From the necropolis you can see the impressive cliffs of Amurga with walls up to a thousand meters high, a place from where on the days of the equinox the sun illuminates the "King's Tumulus" at dawn.
