The City Council of Santa Lucía de Tirajana promotes the modernization of the municipality's business fabric through a project financed by the Cabildo of Gran Canaria and which has the support of the Canarian Employment Service
The Local Development area organizes this project that is financed until next October by the Cabildo of Gran Canaria within the Collaboration Program with the town councils of the island institution.
Businesses wishing to do so can request advice from the Business Support Office by scheduling an appointment. Technicians will then meet with business representatives to prepare a report with recommendations for improving competitiveness and will advise them on the use of social media, website creation, and other services that can enhance quality and customer service. The Councilor for Local Development and Economic Development, Ana Gopar, highlights that “with this project we continue the work that we have carried out for many years at the City Council with the training plans that we have done with SMEs, because our city is a commercial benchmark for "the quality of the sector, and permanent renewal is necessary to maintain competitiveness."
