Admission to the concert is free, until capacity is reached.
The new Agüimes Fairgrounds, located in Cruce de Arinaga, is destined to become an icon of this town and a reference space in the southeast of Gran Canaria for holding concerts, fairs and all types of social and cultural events. Built on a municipal plot of more than 10.000 square meters, very close to the GC-1 highway and the Arinaga Industrial Zone, it has numerous parking spaces and is surrounded by large green areas.
Its architectural characteristics make it especially striking thanks to its particular elliptical shape, the quality of the materials used and its spectacular 11-meter-high translucent roof, which make it a unique building within the urban fabric of the municipality of Agüimes. Added to this are modern and sustainable water and electricity installations, designed to reduce maintenance costs, minimize energy consumption and contribute to environmental sustainability.
In the days prior to the opening concert, the Agüimes Fairgrounds will be visited by a wide representation of neighborhood associations, business entities and social, cultural and sports groups of the municipality. It will also be presented to the media next Thursday, March 23, at 11:30 a.m., in an event that will be attended by the mayor of Agüimes, Óscar Hernández, and the president of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, Antonio Morales. , among other personalities.
