In this year's ranking of the prestigious Newsweek magazine, only three Canarian hospitals appear, two in Gran Canaria and one in Tenerife, being HUSR is the only private hospital in the Canary Islands that appears in the “World's Best Hospitals -2023 -Spain”, occupying the first overall position of the Islands.
San Roque University Hospitals appears in the “Top 50” of the best Spanish hospitals according to the classification of said magazine, appearing in position number 43. In this year 2023, its position has improved compared to last year, which was in position 51 nationally, improving eight positions.
This ranking is a general classification of hospitals, according to the ratings obtained from the recommendations from health professionals, different survey results on patient experience and key indicators of quality of care. Since its founding in February 1933, Newsweek has reported on advances in medicine, science and the pursuit of good health and care.
