In this year's ranking by the prestigious magazine Newsweek, only three hospitals from the Canary Islands appear, two in Gran Canaria and one in Tenerife, with HUSR being the only private hospital in the Canary Islands to appear in the "World's Best Hospitals -2023 -Spain" , occupying the first overall position in the Islands.
San Roque University Hospitals is listed in the “Top 50” of the best Spanish hospitals according to the ranking of said magazine , appearing in position number 43. In this year 2023 it has improved its position compared to last year when it was in 51st place nationally, improving eight places.
This ranking is a general classification of hospitals, based on ratings derived from healthcare professional recommendations, various patient experience survey results , and key indicators of quality of care. Since its founding in February 1933, Newsweek has reported on advances in medicine, science, and the pursuit of good health and care.
