Ingenio once again becomes the island's meeting point for lovers of comedy theater and laughter. The Ingenio Cómico Theater Festival, celebrating its 25th edition this year, returns with a lineup that brings to the town the Yllana company, Alex O'Dogherty, actor Rafa Maza with his alter ego , the posh Fabiolo; and 'Canarian Comedy Night,' starring Aarón Gómez, Víctor Lemes, and Saúl Romero. Adding to this offering is the Impromadrid company, which comes to the festival through the national performing arts circuit Platea, with the show 'Gardens,' featuring actress Ana Morgade among its cast.

Ana Hernández stated that “programming a humor festival of these characteristics is very serious, due to all the work it entails,” and stressed that “we put the same effort into working to achieve the best for the daily life of citizens as we do to make “a festival that can serve as a relief to our daily problems.”
For her part, Minerva Artiles, highlighted the presence of Canarian artists at the festival, “continuing with the work of supporting local creators who deserve this recognition and the opportunity to offer their talent in their homeland,” and added that the Night of Humor Canario is dedicated to the recently deceased Manolo Vieira.
