I Solidarity Race "RUTA 091" of the National Police in San Bartolomé de Tirajana

The profits will go to the APEM association, which has helped people suffering from multiple sclerosis since 1992.

The race, which will have two circular modes of 1 and 5 kilometers, will start and end at the emblematic Maspalomas lighthouse

At the end of the race there will be an exhibition of police equipment at the Maspalomas lighthouse

 

The National Police have launched the first "RUTA 091" Solidarity Race in the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana . The event, held at the National Police Station in Maspalomas, was attended by the Chief Superintendent of Police for the Canary Islands, Jesús María Gómez Martín; the Mayor of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, Concepción Narváez; the Chief of the Maspalomas Police Station, Moisés González; the Deputy Mayor, Samuel Henríquez; and the President of the APEM Association, Milagrosa del Pino López.

 

“RUTA 091” is a series of solidarity races organized by the National Police in different cities throughout the national territory, and whose profits are always allocated to charitable causes that help the most disadvantaged. 

 

Promoted by the Citizen Participation Delegation of the Maspalomas Local Police Station, it will consist of two modalities of 1.091 and 5.091 meters, which will start from the Maspalomas lighthouse and run through the streets of the municipality. An exhibition of police equipment will also be held at the Maspalomas lighthouse, once the solidarity race ends, which will have the presence of different police units, including Canine Guides, Air Resources, UPR, etc.

 

All people who wish to do so can register, meeting the ages established for the different categories.

 

Registration can be done online at the RUTA 091 website, www.ruta091.es . Registration is now open and will remain available until all 800 places are filled.

 

An optional registration called " zero bib " will also be available for those who wish to collaborate voluntarily and in solidarity with a pre-established amount of 10 euros.

 

The race numbers and technical t-shirt for Route 091 will be delivered along with the runner's bag on the following days:

 

  • Tuesday, May 02 and Wednesday, May 03 during opening hours to the public at the Decathlon Telde establishment.

  • Thursday 04 and Friday 05, in the morning (10:00 to 13:00) and afternoon (17:00 to 20:00) at a stand set up at the Maspalomas lighthouse.

 

The price will be 12 euros and the money raised will be donated to the APEM Las Palmas association (Provincial Association of Multiple Sclerosis), which has been helping people suffering from multiple sclerosis since 1992.

 

The National Police are organizing the event.
