TUI and TUI fly Belgium have announced this Wednesday their 2023/24 winter season offers that are now available to book in the south of Gran Canaria. The new winter season brings a greater frequency of flights and direct flights to the island with an Embraer E2 aircraft, that is, the same ones that Binter has for non-island markets. The one who wins the most in terms of increased activity compared to the Canary Islands is Cape Verde.
TUI has launched its first daily flight to Sal, Cape Verde for this winter season. In addition, there will be three departures per week to Boa Vista, Cape Verde's second destination. Gran Canaria remains a staple of TUI's winter offering. For travelers departing from regional airports there will be more direct flights from Ostend to Gran Canaria. TUI also presents the Embraer E2, an advanced aircraft type, which will allow the first two direct flights per week from Antwerp to Gran Canaria.
Egypt has been gaining popularity for some time, and TUI is responding by increasing the number of weekly flights from three to five departures per week to Hurghada, one of the most popular destinations. There will also be three weekly flights to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, two of them being direct flights.
