The PP-AV candidate for mayor of San Bartolomé de Tirajana puts together a work team “prepared to defend and manage the municipality with solvency and without loss of time”
The president of the Neighborhood Association and PP-AV candidate for mayor of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, Marco Aurelio Pérez Sánchez, presented this Tuesday his electoral list designed to win the municipal elections on Sunday, May 28 "by an absolute majority and redirect the City Council and the management of the municipality from scratch.”
Marco Aurelio defined the PP-AV candidacy as “a very powerful and highly trained team, which combines experience with youth, but above all professionalism and a lot of knowledge about municipal reality. “They are prepared people, with a high sense of belonging to the municipality and with great respect for their people,” he said.

With the electoral list that will accompany Marco Aurelio Pérez, PP-AV intends to completely rethink and from scratch the policy that has been made in these four years by the four-party government. “We have the duty and obligation to cover the needs of the four productive sectors of this municipality. Agriculture, fishing, tourism and commerce are the basis of the economy of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, which is the largest in all of Gran Canaria, and today we are losing positions in the ranking of Canarian tourist municipalities and Spaniards,” he stated.
Marco Aurelio Pérez highlighted that PP-AV has drawn up an electoral list with a lot of common sense and with humility as a hallmark, “thinking that we will have to defend the municipality without wasting time, as a solvent work team, prepared to take on "the great responsibility of correctly managing the public administration of San Bartolomé de Tirajana."
The PP-AV mayoral candidate insisted that San Bartolomé de Tirajana “is not just any municipality. It is the largest in Gran Canaria, with the most dispersed and remote neighborhood populations, which has fishing, agriculture, commerce and tourism as its productive sectors, and the most multicultural population in the entire Archipelago. We present ourselves to absolutely rethink the entire policy of our municipality, being very clear and above all that our duty is to put ourselves at the service of the municipality and its people. This team has the mission of making us recover the pride of feeling like we are San Bartolomé de Tirajana,” he expressed.
In that sense, PP-AV presents a candidacy made up of neighbors representing all the towns and neighborhoods of the municipality, who together contribute experience, preparation, qualifications and new knowledge. “This team believes in the culture of effort and does not have a single minute of time to lose, because there is a lot of work pending and there is a lot that needs to be undertaken for the municipality to move forward. Because there are many services that do not work, there are many infrastructures that must be replaced, and there are many demands from unsatisfied neighbors,” said Marco Aurelio Pérez.

The PP-AV candidacy was presented at the tourist viewpoint of Las Dunas de Maspalomas, as a symbol of the effort and work of tourist modernization that was carried out in the previous stage of Marco Aurelio as mayor.
