The candidate for Nueva Canarias-Bloque Canarista in Mogán, Javier Romero, presented this Friday before a crowd of residents, his government project for the southern municipality in view of the next elections scheduled for the month of May. The candidate who heads the NC-BC list has made known each of his colleagues who are accompanying him on this journey.
He addressed his first words to them to thank them for the courage they have shown by stepping forward and fighting for this project despite the comments and attacks they have been receiving for some time from other political parties.
Sincerity, closeness and trust are the pillars on which he bases his project, which he has made known in front of 400 neighbors who have supported him in the plaza of the Ancora Shopping Center in the town of Arguineguín. Romero, a graduate in Audiovisual Communication, a native of this southern municipality, is running for the next elections with the desire to offer his neighbors an alternative government in which all ideas and proposals fit.
And, as the first pillar to straighten out the municipality, it wants to guarantee the proper functioning of essential services, “because it is good to have the most expensive garbage rate in the Canary Islands, a water rate with price differences if you live above or below under the road,
dirty, damaged streets and sidewalks, without access for the disabled, abandoned gardens, containers that are filled with 2 bags…” lamented the mayoral candidate.
Javier Romero sees it as inexcusable that the current Mogán government has not done anything to build new homes, and that is because "they have been in government for 8 years and they only remember about the homes when the elections come."
The candidate has lamented the sad reality that the media reported this week regarding the price of rent in Mogán, which is more expensive than in Ibiza or Marbella.
The NC-BC candidate in Mogán has conveyed to his neighbors, another of his fundamental pillars, the creation of Energy Communities to reduce residents' electricity bills.
Javier Romero has explained how the garbage service has not been carried out correctly for years due to the passivity and inaction of the political leaders of Mogán, causing the discomfort of the neighbors who suffer from the smell, the unsanitary situation of the streets and the containers. and the bad image regarding tourism, the candidate opted for the installation of underground containers in the municipality.
Another of the large projects in which it intends to work with priority is a residence for the elderly, since this municipality does not have one despite the high demand and need for both the elderly and the families who have to take care of it. of their elderly relatives.

The creation of an Agricultural and Commercial Market in Mogán jointly with the Cooperative.
And strengthen tourism, launching tourist information posts, reinforcing security with greater staff and reinforcement of other forces in Puerto Rico and Playa de Mogán, creating our own tourist rehabilitation consortium, beautifying our environment, and enhancing our cultural attractions, historical, nautical services and environment.
Javier Romero has made it clear in his presentation that his only objective is to give the municipality a change to improve once and for all. "I am not in politics to lie to you, Mogán can change, Nueva Canarias has a team, it has a project and we know how to do it, because Nueva Canarias has a management model and a government that works."
“I don't want something good for Mogán, I want the best for my municipality.”
