The authorities of the south of Gran Canaria have planned between July 14 and 16 at Playa de San Agustín (Barranco de Joseito) the Maspalomas Costa Canaria Soul Festival will celebrate its VII edition. It costs 196.000 euros and logic says that it has to be managed by the company that invented it at the time of AV-PP, that is, DD Company. More than 15.000 people usually gather at each edition of the festival.
The seventh edition will return to the cultural programming of the San Bartolomé de Tirajana City Council with a musical offering that will include, as is customary, some soul and rhythm & blues voices from the national and international scene.
Whoever heads the Department of Culture of the San Bartolomé de Tirajana City Council must say that it is a commitment to recover for the cultural programming those meetings that, like the Maspalomas Costa Canaria Soul Festival, enrich the tourist offer of the municipality. It is a meeting that also takes place on the coast, on the sand, a few meters from the sea.
