This project began in 2020 with an agreement between the companies Wise Dreams, San Roque University Hospitals and the Bioengineering Research and Innovation Institute of the Polytechnic University of Valencia. The objective was to design a sensorization and intelligence system, with a cognitive assistant and virtual reality application, to provide care to elderly patients. This project seeks innovative formulas to improve and humanize the care and quality of life for older people or those in isolation.
After several stages of development, implementation and data collection; Last February 2023, the last stage of Emoternity ended in relation to its development and validation of the platform. The main conclusions of the project after validation in the months of January and February 2023 in two residences on the island, El Palmeral and Queen Victoria, have been very positive:

• Virtual reality is an effective tool to improve the mood of residents of senior care centers, without generating anxiety or discomfort.
• The AI algorithm used is effective in predicting emotional states.
• Level of apathy: there is a significant correlation between the number of interactions and the level of user apathy.
