Pedro Sánchez will visit Gran Canaria

 

“Now more than ever the strength of the socialists of Gran Canaria and, of course, that of the socialists of San Bartolomé de Tirajana must be felt,” read the statement issued by José Cornejo Jiménez, Secretary of Organization of the Socialist Party in San Bartolomé de Tirajana, in which it reported on the presence of Pedro Sánchez at an electoral event in Gran Canaria on May 6.

 

 

Pedro Sánchez will preside over an event in which he intends to support the socialist candidates for the municipal and regional elections on the island. The socialists of San Bartolomé de Tirajana have already confirmed their presence in the statement from their Organization Secretary. The event will take place at the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium and will begin at 19:00 p.m.

 

 

Pedro Sánchez's last time in the Canary Islands was last April, when he spent a few days resting in Lanzarote, at the presidential residence of La Mareta. Just a month before, also on the conejera island, he met with Portuguese Prime Minister Antonio Costa at the Spanish-Portuguese summit.

 

His last visit to Gran Canaria dates back a few months, when he visited the capital island at the end of January to attend a party event also held at the Alfredo Kraus and visit the World Food Program base in Puerto de la Luz. ; a visit that two months later also made by HM the Kings of Spain.
